Quiltmania is pleased to announce the release of its third book with Bonnie Sullivan, an ode to the art of diverting and recycling old objects!
In this very eclectic book, Bonnie walks from one season to the next through 20 very original and one-of-a-kind projects. Old linen, damaged quilts, clothespins, old keys, plasterer's float, musical score, are thus reinvented into new decorative objects. Among these are quilts of course, but also placemats, crochet rugs, dolls, advent calendars and Christmas decorations, or even pin sticks.
For fans of Bonnie's work you will find in this book her taste for working with woolen fabrics, the appliqué, the charm of her simple compositions, and embroidery of course. Each part includes a list of objects gleaned from flea markets and flea markets that inspired these creations according to each season. Finally you will find illustrations of the different embroidery stitches that Bonnie uses in her projects.
Bonnie Sullivan is the creator of Oregon-based All Through the Night, which specializes in creating patterns of quilts, crochet carpets, cross stitch and embroidery.
English and French language combined.
